 for polyurethane, PVC -tube expansion approx 50% through-bore is larger than 400 Series

Series 400

for semi rigid tubing eg polythene - shallow barb for ease of assemly; low tensile strength - allows for 25% expansion of tubing.

Classic Series

preferred for soft tubing eg silicone, latex - extended longer surface of barc helps grip
 - 42 to 60% expansion of tubing.
