Omnifit Varibore Check Valves - For connecting hard wall tubing

Check valves allow the flow of gas and liquid in one direction only, opening at a pre-set cracking pressure.
Varibore CVs
use the Omnifit 'cap-type' connection system and are suitable for hard-wall tubing such as PTFE, PEEK, stainless steel and glass. A range of cracking pressures from 0.1 to 10 psi are available.
Non-return valves prevent flow returning back down the tubing. Omnifit's non-return valve has a cracking pressure of 10 psi and also uses the Omnifit 'cap-type' connection system for hardwall tubing.
Both types of valve are suitable for tubing sizes between 0.5 and 4mm OD, which can be connected using either Viton O-rings or PTFE cones.
O-ring option
One large and two small Viton O-rings are suppled as standard with every connector. These allow instant connection of tubing sizes from 1mm to 4mm OD and make a compression-type fitting.
PTFE cone option
PTFE cones are supplied as standard with every connector: 1/16'' (0.4mm) with standard bore connectors and 1/32'' (0.8mm) with small bore connectors. A range of PTFE cones to accept other tubing sizes from 0.5mm to 4mm OD tubing are also available separately. PTFE cones also make a compression-type fitting, but ensure an all-PTFE flow path. |

Uses
Barbed check valves are for connecting soft wall tubing such as silicone or Tygon. A range of barb sizes to suit inner diameters (ID) ?? are available. |
