Note : The GST IMPOST (Sales Tax) of 10% will be added to our Australian Prices as from July 1, 2000
- Export prices are NOT affectedWhat this means of course that as our prices have always been on the previously tax exempt basis under the old VS number and exemption system and 100% of our customers have not been "obliged" to pay Sales Tax.
Now we (as a Company) are forced to be Tax Collector and add 10% to "everything".
IF you are a Government Dept I believe there is a built-in mechanism for . . .
you to claim that GST back again from the Tax Dept
So that is
Nil Return Exercise . . . for a lot of work for both of US
. . . BUT that's another "can of worms" GST, BAS Blah! blah! for YOU to worry about !For AUSTRALIAN customers . . .As from July 1, 2000 we will be quotimg an ABN on our Invoices
and adding 10% to our Invoice sub-total.
This is
not a price rise on our part as such but a taxation "imposition" by the FEDS.
Are they just a 10% partner in our business and do Nothing ??? . . . and at NO risk !
Fortunatly for You Overseas customers this GST DOES NOT apply to export salesAny change in our prices only reflect- our cost price changes from our suppliers
