Helium Sparger Filter
The Helium Sparger Filters offer an inexpensive way to prepare and maintain mobile phases free of dissolved gases. Connect these spargers to a regulated supply of helium gas (0–400 mL/min) to effectively remove dissolved oxygen, nitrogen and other atmospheric gases from the mobile phase. Jour spargers are made from 10 µm porosity stainless

- Pressure rating up to 35 bar (500 psi) It is essential to keep particulates out of any LC system. The In-Line filter has been developed and is particularly
aimed at biochemical applications since it is totally METAL-FREE. The filter-body is machined from virgin PEEK and the filter element is PAT™ material (PEEK Alloyed with Teflon) and is color-coded to differentiate between the porosities of the PAT™ frits.
The natural PEEK color for 5 µm version and black housing for 10µm porosity. – Because the unique PAT™ frit contains
no metals or extractable compounds, no foreign material will be introduced into the system. – This filter is also ideal for IC systems where ordinary metal frits may interact with ionic samples - or release transition metals that may deactivate ion exchange columns. – Accepts 1/8" or 1/16" OD tubing via PEEK flange-free fittings.

SS In-Line Solvent & Precolumn Inlet Filter Stainless Steel In-line Solvent Filter
The SS In-line Solvent filter P/N 68248 has it´s place between the pump and sample injection valve and traps particles usually released through normal piston seal wear. It has a large diameter PEEK encased filter frit (P/N 1100-2P) which has a 3–4 times capacity compared with the precolumn filter and a porosity of 2 µm.
Use this filter for a wide variety of applications that require particulate removal. This filter provides moderate
dispersion and has high capacity.
A 10° distribution cone spreads the flow of the mobile phase over the entire surface of the frit. The thru-hole is 1.27 mm (0.050") which allows good solvent flow. Stainless Steel Precolumn Inlet Filter
The SS Inlet filter P/N 68249 is connected between the injector and the column to protect your expensive columns
from particulates from samples, mobile phases or instrument seals, which are the factors contributing to a short life of your column.
The Precolumn Filter has a 0.50 mm (0.020") thru-hole and a 10° distribution cone for minimum mixing and band spreading. As a standard we enclose a 2 µm PEEK encased frit (P/N 1104-2P). The frit has a diameter of 2 mm and consequently allows it also to be used with microbore column applications.
