- PEEK Pre-Cut Tubing is square and burr-free for zero-dead volume connections We now manufacture PEEK Pre-Cut Tubing for immediate delivery from stock. We build these kits in a variety of versions. However, most popular are the specified, which can be used with most types of HPLC instruments. We pack to your
specification. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Titanium Tubing
|
| |||||||||||||||||||||
Titanium Tubing is an excellent alternative to stainless steel. We offer a chromatography grade (99,5%) tubing in straight length. A good rule when using titanium is not to use it in combination with acids because of potential cracking. Also remember that
titanium is brittle - be careful when bending the tubing.

Tubing Clip Here is a convenient small device for the busy chromatographer. The Tubing Clip, which holds both your 1/16" and 1/8"
plastic tubing precisely where they should be in your beakers, flasks and bottles etc. up to 4 mm thick.

Jour Tubing Elbows (90° and 180°) are ideal for routing 1/16" PEEK tubing through your system. Simply snap the tubing into the elbow. These elbows are proportioned to bend PEEK tubing at the optimum radius for maximum chemical resistance and burst pressure.

- Replaces Stainless Steel, Titanium and Tefzel Tubing PEEK tubing has the strength required to withstand continuous use at HPLC pressure without swelling or bursting. The dense polymer structure of Jour PEEK tubing eliminates the permeability to organic solvents that causes other polymer tubing, such as Tefzel to "sweat". Jour PEEK tubing is color-coded two ways for easy identification. One we call "Solid Color Coded" which means that dye is added to the tubing when manufactured and is evenly distributed through the entire tube for easy visibility. The other one we call "Striped Color Coding", where only a colored stripe is added to the OD. Use the "Striped Color Coded" where maximum chemical resistance and biocompatibility are required. Dye never contacts the fluid stream. Use PEEK tubing with virtually any organic or inorganic liquid. Remember PEEK tubing is not effected by halide salts, high strength buffers or other aggressive mobile phases that degrade stainless steel. The polymer surface will not leach metal ions into the eluant or extract metal sensitive components from the sample. By far the most outstanding property is its excellent burst pressure. PEEK is compatible with almost any of the solvents commonly used in HPLC. Methylene Chloride, THF and DMSO may cause swelling in PEEK. Concentrated nitric and sulphuric acid will attack PEEK. However, PEEK can safely withstand 20–30% nitric acid when passivating a system. All our 1/16" PEEK capillaries have a tolerance of ± 0.05 mm (0.002"). - The Jour Research ready-for-use flanged tubing for reliable connections in your Metal
surfaces interfere with many ion chromatographic and biotechnical applications. By leaching metal contaminants into the mobile phase or even absorbing sample components the activity of biological samples can be changed drastically. By using a metalfree environment for IC analysis and EC-detection the baseline noise will be reduced and by this the detection sensitivity increased.
